Notes: Titus 1:3

but at the proper time manifested, even His word, in the proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior, (Titus 1:3)

God does not reveal all He knows to us. And that which He does reveal, He does so in His own time. God had promised the hope of eternal life. He had placed signs revealing bits and pieces of His plan since fall in the Garden. But the totality of the plan of salvation was not completely revealed until His Son, the Christ, came to earth and conquered death.

Paul acknowledges the great responsibility placed upon him as one to whom God has revealed His word.
