Titus is instructed, that despite all the evil that exists in the church, despite all the problems, despite all the trouble makers, he is to speak sound doctrine.
Titus is expected to teach the message entrusted (Titus 1:2), that is true (Titus 1:1). Again Paul emphasizes sound doctrine as the foundation for a healthy, God glorifying ministry.
