For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, (Titus 2:11, NASB)
I’m going to make an exception and use the KJV today because the form of the KJV more closely follows the literal translation.
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (Titus 2:11, KJV)
God’s grace, His undeserved favor, is not just revealed to a select few. That grace, which brings salvation to God’s chosen ones (Titus 1:1), is shared, made manifest to rich and poor, bond and free, white and black, Jew and Gentile alike. The gospel message is a two edged sword. It indicts all men in their sin (Rom 3:23). Yet, for those that believe (Rom 3:22), it brings salvation, ever lasting life, relationship with Jesus Christ.
