And why do we owe Christ all honor and glory? He has redeemed us, purchased our freedom, paid our debt to the law. His blood has washed away our sins, allowing us to enter into sweet communion with Him for eternity. He has set us apart, called us out of the world, to be His own, unique possession. This new, unique people, called the Church toils for Him. Not that their work buys their salvation, but their gratitude drives them to be Christ-like.
