Notes: Titus 3:3

For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.  (Titus 3:3)

Before our spirit was quickened and we were regenerated to new life, we too were fallen creatures.  We are to remember our fallen state, not just academically, but practically when we interact with the world.  Remember that before your mind was awakened to the things of Christ, you too were foolish.  You too were disobedient.  You too were deceived by the ruler of this world.  You were mired in lusts and worldly pleasures.  Hatred was in your heart.

Listed here are the traits of the fallen.  These are traits that ought not to be found within the Body of Christ.

The more we forget the magnitude of the debt we owed the Law, the less the value of Christ’s sacrifice becomes to us.
