First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, (1 Timothy 2:1)
Having discussed the law and the importance of sound doctrine, Paul now address’ the issue of prayer. Prayer is a very important part of public worship. Prayer is not to be limited to a select few (1 Timothy 2:8). When engaged in prayer, do not selfishly only pray for those you know and love.
Give thanks to God for the lady at Kroger that helped you with your bags. Saved or unsaved, God ordained for her to be there. Ask that God’s will be done in the lives of the unsaved as well as the saved.
