Notes: 1 Timothy 2:2

for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.  (1 Timothy 2:2)

We love to pray for our president.  We love to pray for our governor.  But our boss?  Not happening.  Paul entreats Timothy to pray for ALL who are in authority.  From the President to the corner traffic cop. 

Why those in authority?  Is their relationship with God more important than anyone else?  No.  But their area of influence is great.  The impact of their sin is great.  The impact of their faithfulness is as equally great.
