Notes: 1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, (1 Timothy 2:5)
The for indicates that we are continuing to discuss prayer.
We, as believers, should offer prayer for all men, because there is but one God. There is only one mediator. There is only one way.
Christ Jesus is not just the mediator between the saved and the throne, but He is the only mediator between mankind and the throne. Rich or poor, high or low, Christ is the only way for all.
