The rest last night was needed. Driving is stressful enough, without the added pressure of blown tires and missed schedules.
Woke up refreshed this morning and ready to go. We left the school around 8:45 instead of the planned 8am.
When we arrived at the house designated to us, we were surprised to find a gent already working there. He was apparently a friend of the homeowners and had been helping with the sheet rock.
We had one large room to just mud, as opposed to hanging and mudding. A group of team two students got started cleaning up the work area while the other half started to sand the other rooms in the house. Team 6 students worked at mowing the front yard and cleaning out the flower beds.
Evening
After we got back to the school, the students ate dinner and then went back downtown to Cafe Du Monde for coffee and sweets. The parking lots at the school are very tight, and another tire on the bus was punctured by a very sharp curb corner. Caleb and I again stayed behind, as did Charles and Tommy, so that only one van would be needed to make a second run downtown.
