Notes: 1 Timothy 3:3
not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money. (1 Timothy 3:3)
The pastor should be one who is sober minded, filled with the spirit and not wine. He should not be quick to fight or brawl, but should be gentle and peaceable. He should aspire to this higher work, not for earthly gain, but for the Glory of God.
