Go Into All the World…But Not China

"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."  (Matthew 28:18-20)

This past week, Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, told reporters that he is opposed to missionary work at this summer’s Beijing Olympic Games.

"I think the government of China is recognizing that more and more and are seeing the value of a personal faith that people can have and so I’m here to encourage that," Graham said.

This runs contrary to the SECULAR reports (Human Rights Watch, Amnesty InternationalU.S. Department of State Religious Freedom Report 2007) released on China’s human rights record.

"I would not support any illegal activity at all," Graham said.

How many of the apostles died from LEGAL activities?

"Dialogue is always the best approach," Graham said.

Really? Talk to sin, play with sin, but don’t get dirty?  Talk to the enemies of God, stroll around with their escorts, and don’t get dirty?

Compromise is a nasty thing.
